Hi, I’m Marc Windgassen, Co-Founder and Head Trainer at Dogpoint LLC. I've been training dogs for over 3 decades across six countries including:

My lifelong passion for dogs began at the tender age of 7 when I was captivated by my uncle training his hunting dogs and competing in hunting trials with them. Since then, I've dedicated myself to dog training, working with dogs across the United States, Germany, Greece, and Trinidad and Tobago.

My heart has always held a special place for rescue dogs, as I firmly believe every dog deserves a chance at a loving life. I volunteer weekly at my local shelter to help at-risk dogs find their forever homes, and I've devoted hundreds of hours to rehabilitating rescue dogs with complex needs.

Between 2014-2016, I honed advanced skills in narcotics detection work alongside my beloved late German Shepherd (featured on the dopoint.pet homepage). This experience has shaped my training significantly. I also specialize in training blind and deaf dogs, ensuring that every pup has the chance to thrive. My primary focus is on pet dog training and helping dogs with special needs, reach their full potential.
